Dr Cliona O’Rorke
MB BCH BAO MRCPI MICGP MFSEM DME DCH
Dr Cliona O'Rorke is an honours UCD graduate, and completed her GP training in 2004, being awarded the Ellard Eppel Trophy for the highest results nationally in final post graduate exams.
She joined the team in Sundrive in 2004 as a locum and never left! She became partner in 2008. She has been a GP Trainer since 2008 and an Intern Supervisor since 2023.
She has a special interest in Women’s Health, from contraception, through reproductive health, pregnancy care to menopause.
She loves the broad nature of general practice, valuing the ongoing often lifelong relationship with the patients of Sundrive. When not at work her 4 children keep her busy and distracted, but she still finds time for an occasional game of tennis.

Dr George Dennis
MB BCH BAO MICGP DME DCH DOWH
Dr George Dennis graduated from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 1998 and completed his General Practice training in 2004.
He has undertaken postgraduate training in minor surgery and musculoskeletal injection therapy. His clinical interests include men's health, children's health and long-term management of chronic medical conditions. Dr Dennis also has significant experience in providing primary care for people with intellectual disabilities and is committed to delivering comprehensive, patient centered care for individuals and families in the community.

Dr Michael Willoughby
MB BCh BAO, MICGP, MRCEM, DRCOG, LL.B
Dr Michael Willoughby graduated from the University College Dublin in 2015. Having previously trained at Sundrive Medical Centre he has been a GP at the practice since 2023. Dr Willoughby has a particular interest in men's health, evidence-based medicine and chronic disease management and enjoys building relationships with his patients and improving quality of life.

Dr Dáire Rothwell

Dr Dáire Rothwell graduated from Trinity College Dublin in 2015. He then worked in hospital medicine for 7 years in both Ireland and Australia and completed his Basic Specialist Training in Medicine in 2021.
He worked as a trainee here in the practice prior to graduating from the Trinity GP scheme in 2025 and has continued to work here since. Dr Rothwell has a particular interest in renal medicine, dermatology, women’s health and chronic disease management.

She graduated from Edinburgh Napier University with a strong foundation in patient-centred care. After working in various hospitals, she joined Sundrive Medical Centre in March 2025, bringing a passion for nursing and a commitment to supporting the health and well-being of every patient.

Anne O'Connell
Working at Sundrive Medical Centre for last 36 years and 10 years as Practice Manager, this role oversees the daily operations of a busy GP surgery, supported by a very good team. Responsibilities include managing staff, coordinating patient services, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and maintaining a smooth, efficient workflow throughout the practice. Dedicated to fostering a welcoming and organised environment, working closely with GPs, nurses, and administrative staff to deliver high-quality care to the Sundrive community. The role also involves handling finances, liaising with external healthcare providers, and continuously improving practice systems to meet the evolving needs of patients and staff alike.
